Hey if you want to make graphical maps, you can use statistical sprites. They don't use strings but can be useful. The No Library Guide to BASIC Maps and Sprites will have everything you need to know about stat sprites.

Erm, that takes a good deal of electronics experience to build...
And programming experience to make function...
He's already got the source code for the PIC posted, so that shouldn't be a huge problem.

99 tile map, text based menuue though it uses labels it is neccesary because i use the MENU( ommand
Ah, cool. Lbls though... Sad You can build a custom menu on either the homescreen or the graphscreen pretty easily with the same or fewer bytes than Menu(+lbls.
oh i do not get how that is possible but Kerm you can download it and given an example copy i might be able to after i optimise a few other bits, if you want a copy it is GAME1P7 in the file, which in my group
