Then it'd be his own fault, there's a topic title, if you can't take anything regarding negative influences in the world and prefer to bury your head in the sand you can at least read the topic title, realise what it's about, and decide you don't want to read it (the topic).

Well, I think it's about time that we caught Saddam. Alot of people (my dad included) have been spending so much time since the end of the war to help look for Saddam and they deserve a rest.

Who are you talking to? I'm not Osama.

It goes over to a general reasoning/comment, 'you' would be anybody that reads it.

Anyway, I didn't make this topic to discuss forum ethics, I created it to inform people about the capture of Saddam Hussein (though it's hard to miss if you have a tv) and discuss it.

I missed it!

Anyway, I doubt it'll make any difference he's caught. Except maybe to Saddam himself.

That could be true, but I think it might make some impact on the elections next year?

How?

In the US, I'm pretty sure no one would vote for Bush (If I were older and a US citizen, I know I wouldn't!).

I figure it would be a good opportunity for Bush to get a little campaign going about how well they did in Iraq or how well Saddam's capture has been organised etc.

He might, but who'd listen?

I doubt it was that well organised - probably more of luck. If it was organised, they'd have an easier time catching Osama.

I don't see them doing that well in Iraq either.

Why couldn't sadam assassinate the shrub in office on thanksgiving and gotten killed in the process? It would have given me a lot to be thankful for.

Meanwhile, violence continued in Iraq on Sunday, with at least 17 people killed and 30 wounded after a powerful car bomb exploded at an Iraqi police station in Khaldiyah, about 35 miles (60 km) west of Baghdad.

The violence doesn't look like it's about to stop... what good did capturing Saddam do? Hiding in a cellar he wasn't doing much anyway...

They didn't kil Saddam, they captured him. They are going to try him, probably for War Crimes.

Still, the violence continues without him. Sad
