I screwed up my calculator a couple of weeks ago!
I opened it up to make backlighting in the LCD. It all worked well, but I damaged the LCD's connector by accident!
The LCD only worked half!!
Luckily the calculator was still under warranty, and I got a new one from the store (FF course I didn't tell that I opened it Wink )

isnt it possible to backlight the screen without opening the calculator ?
Maybe with those small LEDs ( about 1 mm ), i think there should be enough space.
but what about the wires ?
