I bet there's going to be some more special characters in the character set with that new operating system. Take a close look at the bold /'s and the outline box.

Does anyone here have a link to a download of that OS? I'd like to try it out.

I was wondering, how do you rum dump a 84+ ?

Because I tried a few things and I couldn't get a rom to be used in WabbitEMU...
If somebody has a .rom of the 2.53MP, can i have it by PM if necessary ?

That is where I asked about the same problem pretty much. The answer by benryves is the best. Download Ti-83+SDK. Its the best thing I have found.

It is slower than that of the 2.43 os. Also, some output functions might not work correctly.
