go to cirrus.tigalaxy.com and find the cirrus sdk/download it.
create a folder c:\Asm
unzip the contents of the zip file into the new folder
double click the install.bat or what ever it's named
write your program
make sure you save it as .asm in the main sdk folder (c:\asm?)
close all windows
Start->Run
in the box, type "command"
type asm\ asm filename (no extension!)
press 1
watch it asemmble, lest there be errors
press 5
fix errors/check "Bin" folder for output .8xp if there was no errors
mind it will give an error if the filename is more than 8 characters long not including the extension.

Um... there where no dragons in the middle ages. Or any other period in history.

where do you think the T-Rex came from?

The Tyranosaurus Rex lived over 65 million years ago, the middle ages started 1500 years ago.

65 mil years ago (when the trex died out) falls under "Or any other period in history".
