The official release date for Drifter is September 8th (The day after Labor Day).
The size will be just over 11,000 bytes.
It will have 16+1 levels and a built in level editor.
Can you wait 54 days...

wOOt! I'm a Drifter master! :D

Wow, that is a very very nice puzzle game. There are so many awesome special tiles it makes my head spin, and it provides great puzzle elements. I noticed a lot of the program design was inspired by donut quest, from the save game system, to the main screen, to the level editor. Everything is very well polished and you managed to fit it all into one program! I take my hat off to you!

PS:I like puzzle games Smile

Applause for Drifter.

I enjoyed it very much - the game is also really intuitive, being no need to try to figure out the instructions, and it's very easy to figure out what newer tiles do (run into them and die).

The only comment I would hazard is that the difficulty of the levels do not go up progressively. Sometimes you'll encounter an easier level, then a hard one, then another easy-ish level.

But all in all, I'm really really impressed.

For some reason, when I use Drifter on MirageOS v. 1.2, on my TI-84+ SE, it does some kind of automatic power down intermittently, about every 10 minutes. My friend has experienced this too, and though it doesn't interrupt gameplay (the game is still playing and the character still moves) it is annoying. Has this happened to anyone else? Or are there any reasons why this might happen?

Love the game, though.

I think it's the "APD enabled in progs" option.

Controls for the level editor:
Arrows: move, unless you've pressed [Mode] or [XTthetaN]
2nd and Alpha: Scroll thru tiles
Mode and XTthetaN: Switch to "wall mode". Press arrow keys to draw walls
Del: Make tile blank
Stat: Shortcut key (to tile 13: piviot 1)
You can press 2nd or Alpha on flag/starting spot to change them

Also: Press Mode on the title screen...

Is Builderboy (Congrats to be the first one to beat it  ) the only "Drifter Master"?
