ChASM = Death. I wouldn't even bother, as it has more bugs in a single line of code than an entire rainforest. That being said, it does 'work' after a fashion, but it's far more trouble than it's worth. You'd be better off trying the OTBP Assembler ++. I've heard that one actually works, which is a rare feature in on-calc assemblers (just kidding...sorta).

I use OTBP asm 1, it works perfectly for what I use it for, that is: coding stuff in class

Are you sure i mean granted it does have a lot of bugs in it (in fact the first time i assembled something on it it went haywire) the reason i like it is because of the source code program layout since it uses small text and is much more like writing it on a computer.

It WILL compile programs, just that it's so glitchy that it's near-impossible to get anything done. I think I remember crashing my calc just by scrolling too far in one direction. Handle with care, to be sure. If you think that you can handle ChASM, bugs and all, by all means, go ahead. AFAIK, it's a great program, other than the bugs.
