You did an excellent job! I don't think you could get the cool sliding effects as easily in xLIB, since it just moves an 8x8 sprite.

Thanks unfortunately the level editors gonna take a while as this uses hard coded sprites.

well actulay the smalest sprite you can move in xlib is 8 pixels wide and 1 pixle tall
since hight dosent mater in sprites so it is posible to create the sliding effect

You know what would be a cool effect? If you erased the old picture and drew the new one simultaneously, in such a direction that it seems to slide. Here's a picture of what it could look like, in frames from top to bottom:

Would not really run much slower that way. Also, if you wanted to use xlib after this: all you would have to do for a level editor would be to make a pic editor, where they can just edit the picture or tell the game which pic to use.
