Animated screens from calc or emulators? You really have to parse words there.
If it's an emulator, ticalcnoah (and WabbitEmu) already answered your question.
If it's calc shots, some linking progs like WTran8x will screen-cap with certain TI models, but the support was rather limited and you're really getting stills from the screen. Not so much streaming video.
My overall recommendations are PTI and WabbitEmu. Or better yet, both since they're both still in development. Calc Capture is okay in its own right, and it is capable of recording more than just the screen. But it's for the older emulators like VTI and --if I remember-- limits you to about 10fps even though the interface might say otherwise. PTI and Wabbit on the other hand, produce the high-FPS stuff; give you more meaningful config options; and you can locate their authors right here in the forums. |

Emulators are programs that imitate (in this case) calculators.
So you fetch a ROM image from your calc (just search ticalc for a howto), you load it into the emu, you run your program with it and you launch the capturing thingy. (refer to emu's readme)
There's your animated screenie! |

More information on getting/setting-up emulators can be found here. Personally, I haven't had much luck with romdump2 (which is what ticalc.org says to use), so I would try Rom8x (click on the Utilities tab in the link I gave you). Like DigiTan, I would recommend both WabbitEmu and PindurTI, which can be found in the Emulators tab in that link.
They keys for PTI can be found here, and they're almost identical for Wabbit as well.
Hope this helps |

Good point. PTI doesn't work with 84s. |

The official Flash Debugger comes with TI-83+/TI-83+SE ROMs. |

I don't think so. Doesn't it just work w/o ROM? |

That's obviously impossible. The TI83Plus.clc and TI73.clc (and I'm sure there's an SE one) are the ROM files, or more specifically, the first 512KB of them. |
