I just found a incomplete mario game for z80 (ti83+). It actually has the correct physics of SMB. It's abandoned as the original programmer called it quits. It has a lot done and the source code. Anyone want to take it and program the rest? Unfortunately, I don't have the skills. Sad The mario game does show a lot of promise.

Whoa! I'd heard of that project before but I didn't know it was THAT close to completion. I was going to suggest the timing might be bad with The New Project M, The Elemental Crystal, and Blobby's Adventure all in development. But I didn't know it was that developed. I mean, you throw in some more enemies, debug the draw timing & collisions, and it's-a-ready. That was my Italian.

Yeah... my problem is getting ION to install.
For some reason, my TI 84+ SE is rejecting it with 'ERR: Invalid'.

Here is a zip version for those of you that cannot open .rar files.

This game looks very good. I looked through his source code and it does indeed look very well laid out. Unfortunately I do not have the desire or time to finish this game.

I think all we need is a level editor and bam! It will be good. Maybe if the game would slowdown a bit it would also be better.

No, there is quite a bit of functionality that still needs to be implemented.

The turtles do not kill other enemies when they are launched.
I don't see any enemy implementation for flowers, bombs, bullet bills, koopas, frogs, ...
You need some interface which let's you play with multiple lives. Raccoon suit, fire power, frog suit, ...

I am assuming that he was attempting to create a Mario 3 type game so these are just a few of the features that are missing. I'm sure that if you started looking into it, there is quite a bit missing. The one thing that is solid is the framework. The code is very nicely laid out. It utilizes a bunch of calls to different functions that make it easy to add different enemies and such. It may not be optimized for speed, but it is perfect for readability.

There is a .zip file posted further up this exact page that contains all of the source to this project. If you are looking for source codes, I would suggest actually trying to find it yourself before posting "Source Code Please" in every single topic.
