I'm currently addicted to a game called Robokill. However, it uses a save file. Does anyone have any idea if (and if so, how) I can get this save file from computer to computer, maybe even from OS to OS?

Simply E-mail it to yourself as an attachment and open it up in the other computer.

if its a signed Java applet i *think* it could write the file anywhere on your computer, otherwise it probably uses a cookie.

It's a Flash game, and saves settings in your user profile directory.

On my PC, it saves to a file C:\Users\Ben\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\9KAYV2PV\www.rocksolidarcade.com\robotron.sol

Try typing in "%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects" into the Run dialog and clicking OK, then hunt around in there. You may be able to copy the .SOL file from one computer to another.

If that doesn't work, you could well be SOL. Wink

Thanks! I haven't found it yet, but I haven't played Robotron on this computer, go figure. Thanks for your help.
