The search feature is really useful. Send G83PBE1.8xp to your calculator instead of what I said in the other post.

ive got the appvar on my computer (D83PBE1) and I open up rom8x.exe in command prompt, then I do the part here

"Then Start > Run > cmd.exe

cd \
cd Documents and Settings
cd <user>
cd Desktop
cd rom8x
rom8x 83PBE -u TI83Plus_OS119.8Xu
"

but when I get to where you type in <cd rom8x> it gives me an error, What am I doing wrong?

most likely because rom8x is not on your desktop (and that's what the cd command wants)
Here is an easier way to do it.
open up Notepad.
Type in rom8x 83PBE -u TI83Plus_OS119.8xu
pause

Save it as run.bat in your rom8x folder. Then run it.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! The readme file for romx is so complicated and you make it so easy! I was messing around with it for hours and your way I did it in seconds! Thanks again!
