I just started doing ActionScript for Flash today. Man, do I hate this modified camel notation.

My vote?: "ThisIsAVarOrFunction" - Thats how i usually do it.

Even the word(s) "ActionScript" are in this format Smile.

Are you referring to its über-fascist sytax checking? Or that maybe it's just a waste of time bothering with it.

sigma: actually you can disable syntax checking, but it won't get any better. I had my last clash with actionscript about 2.5 years ago, and yes, I'd say it's a waste of time... Unless you want to be a Flash designer, I'd say you should pour your energies into something that makes more sense instead.
