Sometimes, when I try to log in to my computer, or when I try to shut it down, a blue screen comes up. They are always similar; there is a counter at the bottom that counts to 100 then restarts the computer, supposedly dumping physical memory to disk. The explanation for the blue screen is always different, though. My most recent one just said to make sure there is enough disk space and get BIOS updates, and I have the latest BIOS and lots of disk space. Sometimes, it says that it was caused by a BAD_POOL_HEADER, a page fault in nonpaged area, or even "Ticalc.sys". What is going on? |

I used to get this error frequently. Try removing ticalc.sys from C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers and reinstalling your calculator connectivity software.

Heh, I knew TI-Connect was bad, but what exactly are TI doing that requires a BSOD-ing (kernel-mode, I assume) driver? That's quite a feat. |

Other than when that used to happen, I really like TI-Connect. It works much better than TILP and is easier to configure. IIRC, that bug was only if you installed TI-Connect wrong. |

Trying to install drivers for cables for ports computers don't have, I've had this happen to me many times you just need to uninstall the drivers you don't use aka if you only use usb don't install the serial link drivers and etc. |
