I doubt anybody did, but, did anyone competing in it? If so, what did you think about the first test where they had the flawed methods? If not, I'll post a few problems for you.

Tomorrow (Well I suppose technically much much later today) I am going to a UIL Computer Science test thing where they test us all on who knows the most about Java. What a lame language... Oh well - a whole day to goof off with friends and play nerd games until the test.

I'm in AP Computer Science, we do Java too. What do you hate about the language?

I hate it because it runs in the sandbox so you are limited in much of what you can use it for, also it is slow in being a bytecode based language, and it is just flat out quirky and they just had to reinvent the wheel when they made Java terminoligy and the main function classes. They should have gone with what works and what has been working rather than try and create an overly perfect language (which it turned out not to be) and then cram it down everyone's throats.

You know whats even more amusing?

C# (C Sharp) yes that would be Microsoft's new language that ships with .Net...its so much like Java its not even funny. Just more proof that Microsoft isn't innovative, they just use everyone else's ideas.

OMG - don't even get me started on the .Net suite of Microsoft crap. It's like crap - repackaged - and re-crapified. Wow, it just really sucks worse than words can describe.
