I am currently working on AEGIS 1, an ASM program that protects on startup, and
(optionally) when the memory, program, apps, and link menus are pressed. As of now it has a 6 character password that is stored in an appvar. It has a GUI, accepts input on the graphscreen via a modified form of David's input routine, and is very fast. It is nearly complete, but I have found some bugs I need to fix. This will be my fist ASM program, so it will be unoptomized, and somewhat large (2kb).

| Will it run on startup every time automatically, or will one have to run the program every time one wants to turn the calculator off? |

| Actually, the StartUp app is really a shutdown app. It runs when you shutdown preparing to load the app on startup. Serriously, it sets up a hook on shutdown. |

| As of now, you will need to have the STARTUP app to run this on startup. It will still protect the apps, program, link, and mem menues without it. As of now the only people who understand the Startup app and have been able to emulate it are the people over at Detached Solutions. Jbirk said he was looking at the startup appvar, and I have no doubt that he will be able to understand it and emulate it. |
