Omnimaga is down. The agreement was that if Omnimaga had not been restored and away from the temporary forums by March, then it would be shut down forever. That day has come. Sad

["Madagascar Penguins"] Well this stinks ["Madagascar Penguins"]

This isn't good... hopefully the members will find a new home so we can become a more close calculator community...

It is quite a shame that Omnimaga is no more, but I think most of the staff saw knew that this was inevitable. Most of the former staff are also members here as well as Maxcoderz, Ti-freakware, and some at Revsoft. Although the RPG Leviathan know as Omnimaga is no more, we will carry on its legacy. RIP Omnimaga.

It is a sad thing that omnimaga.org had to be shut down. The truly sad part is that it could have been prevented. DJ Omnimaga just had more than he could handle. There are a lot of trolls out there on the internet and sadly dj sucomb to them. The feelings of many are hidden by the words of few. and once he was faced with the swarm he overreacted punishing all for the actions of few. when he deleted his site he deleted more tan just files but his and many other programmers/artists hard work. He felt that just because a few people disliked his work that every body did. But there is evidence quite to the contrary he has had multiple files featured on ticalc.org and has made rpgs with some of the longest gameplay available anywhere. His metriod games being some of the closest port anywhere and bringing many hours of fun to millions of calc gamers around the world. But his greatness came at a price. He had a low tolerance for trolling and it just got lower and lower so by the end any comment that was close to being negative got you banned from his site(which happened to me). Once it reached that point he got on many peoples bad side eventually losing may of his friends who wee once there to help him. The final straw I believe was an apparent lack of inactivity at his site which was in my opinion was just a normal lull that most sites go through once in a while. So now where are here morning the loss of one of the great TI programing sites the home to many a great calculator rpgs and games.
RIP Omnimaga.org many your legend live on.

edit: DJ if you read this I am sorry if I offended you with any comments I have made i have always admired you work even if I have not played many of them.

Maybe I'll download them, just incase they become collectables

But yes, it is very sad to see it end like this. I really enjoyed my time there at Omnimaga (over a year). Best of wishes to DJ, hopefully he finds peace in some other activities he pursues.

From what DJ has told me(I have been in contact with him throughout this) the forums could be up tomorrow, but they could not be up for another year, we really just don't know.

I've been in contact with zetaboards/invisionfree, and I have tried to get them to restore the boards, to no avail.
