Now the coins will bounce if you hit them with bricks! Smile

Oh, and about the 84+SE NSpire keypads... this uses a lot of undocumented commands. Probably would take a lot of work to get rid of them...

Oooh! Can I get in on this?...

...And SMW2!

Well, with that out of the way: will this game include any never-before-seen features (on a calc). Like Caped Mario?

New screenshot! I added a forward-facing sprite for Fire Mario, 1UP Mushrooms (though lives aren't a feature yet), and a coin counter!
The coin counter is the most advanced addition, as it drops down when you get a coin and goes back up after a few seconds. This was also made possible by my new hacky "normal" sprite routine (as in not object-based).

Nope, it was Raccoon Mario (which isn't all that different in effect). Raccoon Mario was in my original plan for this game, so... we'll see.

Wait is your mario character an object of the structure of objects or is he a "special" object because their is only one of him? Like you have special functions for mario that are always run even if the object structure was not used?

...I don't know what to say. This is phenomenal. For a devoted retro games fan, this is an achievement unmatchable.

Keep up the epic work. This is amazing.

He actually is an object (this makes sense because all objects should use the same collision routine, sprite routine, and so on). Though, I do have some special things in the main game loop which check for various animations (i.e. upgrading and pipes).

Will there be points? In the Mario by Sam Helad, there were only coins, which bugged me a bit.

I like the coin counter, that's a really neat feature I don't think was in any of the original Mario games.
