I was thinking about cool calculator apps and I thought of a digital radio tuner. Has this been done before? The neccisary circiutry could plug into the i/o port and have a 3.5 audio jack. The driver would be relatively easy and only need to ajust variables and posibly have presets. Can anyone help (especialy with the circiutry)?

Dang, this seems kind of complicated.
One question though. If the tuner device is in the port, then how are you going to plug in headphones to listen to the radio?

That was my thought but if it is mono it shouldn't be an issue.

Well, you could have it so that the FM tuner is using the USB port while the headphones go in the I/O port, but I don't know if you can get a mini-USB FM tuner somewhere...

You could modify the cable on this, possibly.
