Apologies, Kerm. It must just be how PTI behaves. |

Ah, you were using PTI. That 'tis indeed the problem - it's key bounce emulation is off slightly. |

Actually, I have been having a similar problem with a too-sensitive cursor in the "Edit Cursor" menu: usually when I pressed an arrow key, it went two or three spaces in that direction and I have to press 2nd multiple times to try to get the square the appropriate color.
This is happening on my TI-83+ Silver Edition with OS version 1.19. Methinks it is because it is faster than the normal TI-83+, and that the "Edit Cursor" cursor speed is just right for a normal 83+, but is a bit too fast on a Silver Edition. |

It reminds me of Space Station Pheta. Its not really the sensitivity that bothers me so much as the spots where i cant even place a dot... |

I did put a quote there, but it still comes up with an error. Is it custom lists? I just tried it on another program without the pics, but it had lists in it.

Try running your program from the TI-OS. The problem is something with the TI-OS's BASIC parser, not Doors CS... |

There is no problem from the OS, just from Doors CS. Hmm... |

What the...? After running doors CS6, I went into mirageos. It totally screwed up my games list! Half of them were gone, and the other half had wierd symbols like sqrt instead of certain letters. What is wrong?! |

DCS + MOS = The most screwed up calc you've ever seen
Simple. 1 or the other. I still go with Mos because I really don't need DocDE, it has more features, it's smaller, and the only crashes I've ever seen it have have been caused by the progs. |

Yeah I must say, I am not really a fan of the mouse. But it has some nice features.. |

Funny...I had no problems with having both MOS and DCS on my calc...other than the fact that everything moved out of my folders in DCS after I quit and entered again. The mouse is good if you have a mouse attached to your calc with a PS/2 port, but it's kind of awkward with the arrow keys...The only feature I really like about DCS is that you can un/archive and un/lock programs without quitting DCS. |

Yeah, but that's so many more keypresses. |

Not for someone like me . It's also a lot faster, because you don't have to mess around with the cursor or anything.
Forgive me and my stubbornness. I have a tendency to stick with whatever I got first--MOS. And also pardon, MOS contains many features and not a lot of fluff. I grant you, though, that you don't have to go smashing the keyboard with DCS to figure out what does what. |

Actually, toggle archive can be done with the Sin key, and toggle lock can be done with the Cos key (or maybe the Tan key; I forget). The other trig key toggles whether or not the program is hidden. Using a button for each function is much faster than some cursor-based interface. Now, if only the people at Detached Solutions would make stuff like that more clear with better documentation. Still, I am glad that they don't make their documentation overkill, like having a two-page license .

It goes...
Un/Archive: Sin
Un/Hide: Cos
Un?Lock: Tan
Which makes sense because in File Info, it goes in that order and it is in that order on the calc. Actually I didnt realize that. Thats handy, Thanks! |

Almost three-quarters of a page in DCS6 is the GUI system that makes something like Document DE 6 900 bytes instead of about 10-11k. :P
Hmm, never know about those MOS hotkeys. It seems that more hotkeys are definitely in order for the next version of Doors CS, if I ever make one. |

MOS has always had issues with not seeing some programs on my calc.....
and for hotkeys you can always just use the TABFunc shell extension.
furthermore CN2 is completely working, he just needs to document the routines in the wiki.

Yeah, where exactly do you get shell extensions? I haven't been able to find them... |
