Thanks for suggesting the 28day tutorial! I like it! I thought I would be able to whip through 3 or 4 lessons per day but things come up... Mad but its all good.
I have a question about he CALL statement.
In the tututorial he says
"N.B. ROM calls are also called Entry Points and System Routines. The name of a ROM Call always begins with an underscore".
What does "N.B." stand for? Did I miss something?
I notice in the TIinc file, there is a rBR_call. Also, in a list of z80 opcodes I have, there are various "call NZ,NN" type of commands.
So, what does "N.B." stand for? Also, am I correct in assuming that it is only in TASM that the name of a rom call always begins with an underscore (since
"call NZ,NN" in the list I have does not start with an underscore?
I remember in the sdk using ZMASM, they didn't use an underscore. Hey, the subject of this topic is sdk. Should I create a new topic named tasm. Probably there already is one! I will look. LOL I might find the answer to what I just asked in this post! Imagine that.

Okay, I came here to check for some new posts (hoping for answers to a question I had). However, what I posted this morning does not seem to be listed here. So, here is my question again:
In day 2 of the 28 day tutorial, he writes
>>N.B. ROM calls are also called Entry Points and System Routines. The >>name of a ROM Call always begins with an underscore.
What does "N.B." mean? Did I miss something? Also, I wondered if it is just
TASM that needs the underscore? I recall the SDK tutorial showing a statement named "bcall" for ZMASM.
Also, in the TI.inc file, there is a command "BR_call". What is the difference between that and the 'normal' "b_call"?

Something weird is going on. When I added the previous post, the one that I thought did not get posted suddenly appeared. So I deleted it AND the one before that disappeared again.
That is why I have two posts that ask basically the same thing. I got tired of trying to just ask the questions in one post!
