We've got to try to get it to #1!
Mirage is good in all, but there's a time for every thing to step out of the lime light.

So my understanding is that the reason MOS is first is because it has more votes? Or is there no reason?

And it is yet another different avatar. Makes my think I should change mine... There. Inverted colors.

It looks better than the last one Laughing

I think that MOS is first because many people have voted for it, unlike the other programs where users download but do not vote. Wink

Yeah, you have to get either 245 perfect votes, or an average higher than a 9.63 Wink

It's not tied anymore... Unless I'm using the wrong list.

[EDIT]
Lol. Mirage is purple, thus I've clicked it.

And so is Learn ASM in 28 days, which tells you I made a sorry attempt to learn ASM. But I think I'll stick with BASIC for now...

Back to United Ti here: I found a bug/glitch, nothing big, just while I was being infuriated with how you guys had gotten scores like 12, and 14, I was pressing randomly the arrow keys and [2nd] and when I stopped, the mouse was at one box, but when I pressed [2nd] it revealed the box to the left of it. Weird huh? Anyways it is no big deal and with the getkey mayhem, something maybe jp'ed wrong?

Also, I have perfect grayscale on the splash screen, but when in gameplay it isn't grayscale at all, just the pixels moving back and forth slowly. Is there something wrong or is it just slow because of the rest of the routine.(the reason I ask is because it looks way different than the screenshots you have posted.)

Could be battery power, could be anything. And I know how to replicate that bug too, you hold Y= and press an arrow key.

I'm having trouble understanding how 23 votes could lead to an average of 9.63, OR how 27 votes could average to 9.03.

If you had 23 votes which added up to 221, their average would be 9.608695 or 9.61. If they added up to 222, their average would be 9.652174 or 9.65. Votes can't be fractional (they're all 1 to 10) so they can't add to a fractional amount. Thus, there is no way they could average to anything that rounds to 9.63.

Similarly, 27 votes could add up to 243, which would give an average of exactly 9, or 244, which would give an average of 9.037037 or 9.04. Neither of those rounds to 9.03, unless you decided to round by truncating, but not even that could explain the first result.

THEYRE FAKING THE RATINGS!!! BUT THEYVE BEEN EXPOSED!!111

Who said he should sue for a lot? If you even get $100, that's pretty good.

Some other members of the TI community would probably end up paying him a total of $1000 not to sue ticalc.org.
