For the record: Two pairs of similar topics made by the same author arose in at least two different subforums and were deleted. The second topic of the first pair (which was likely made in TI-Basic, as that's where the first one was made two minutes prior) was deleted by DarkerLine, and the second topic of the other pair, made in Calculator Tech Support an hour and 22 minutes later than its duplicate, was deleted by myself. Both of the currently-maintained topics are in TI-Basic—the most appropriate forum for these discussions.

From what I understood it wasn't an issue of clicking the post button too many times, but rather he mistakenly wanted to post the topic in both of the forums he thought it would fit (this has occurred before with other new members). While I can't say his judgement was perfect in that respect, I imagine this was ignorance of custom rather than disregarding rules.
For the record, the duplicate topic I deleted was in Open Topic. |
