File Name :: PyroEdit
Author :: Demon
Category :: Ti-83plus Basic Utilities

Description ::
PyroEdit, the successor to Pyro's Sprite Editor, is a graphics editor that utilizes Patrick Prendergast's xLIB library to let you edit Pics and sprite sheets on your calculator. PyroEdit gives you many more features than the tools in the DRAW menu on your calc. On top of that, if you design graphical games on your calc, PyroEdit will help you get through the spriting process much faster. PyroEdit's "core" is minimal for those who don't need, want, or have room for lots of extra bells and whistles. However, if you do want some of those bells and whistles, then you can get those by installing plug-ins.

It'd be nice to have the xLIB pic in a group, so we can actually send it to our calcs...

The splash screen Pic? Pfft. Don't worry about that one; you don't need that one.
But I probably do need to make a habit of grouping those ([cough]shipshooter[/cough])

You can upload a group named "pic" from you calc to your comp. Drag and drop the splash into the group and send it back.

On a side note, I would suggest grouping all the programs together in either a group or BasicBuilder and make an App.

PyroEdit III is coming soon.
Some Screenshots:

The new interface:

Soft Crashes: If PyroEdit crashes during use, it does not hard-crash back to the shell, but will instead give you a nice error message and an option to restart or exit.

Great, but isn't it better to have no crashes?? (It would be fun to have a program that doesn't behave like windows, please)

The base without any plug-ins shouldn't crash.
Some plug-ins with bugs and low RAM could make it crash, so it's there just in case.
