I think we should add another section in called "General Programming" or something like that. Does anyone know any C++, VB, java? I know pretty much everything Smile so just ask if you want anything. Good idea for new section?

Great, Glad to hear that you program

Hey, could you try not posting in all capital letters please.

I guess I could edit the board settings to make it impossible, but I would prefer that you simply comply.

Another Idea

My post today is about the discussion about summarizing/linking to important threads or creating a FAQ/programming guide, and my solution. We all seem to feel that giving visitors the benefit of discussions from previous forums is a very important issue. The admins could do this, but I think other UTI members should contribute, and that it would be a lot of work for just five people. This forum gave me an idea. Would it be possible to make one nonmembers could see, but not post to? I think that would allow for us to do the FAQ/Programming guide in the forum without the admins having to do all the work. Besides, I feel like we should start doing something as a programming group (other than just visiting a forum). In conclusion, I feel that there should be a section where UTI members and UTI staff can post links and summaries in order to assist the general public in programming.

Actually,

I select from the Moderation Dropdown List "Move This Topic".

Then it ask me what forum I want to put it in, and if I want to leave a link to the new forum, so when someone clicks on the old it will be a link.

I selected no in this case because people can easily find it.

that´s a good idea. We could make a programming contest or a program with all members sharing their knowledge to get a really high quality.

Read the official rulls.

It is stated directly that group colaboration is prohibited in the contest! Each entry must be entirley created by one person.

Were all the old topics from Cirrus moved to UTI? Maybe I don't know what I am talking about.
All I know is that I had one set in my "favorites" but it now says that it does not exist:

Do you know where it is now?
