ok i installed the csx beta and im not really digging the dos feel. i can not understand how to operate it and i dont know how to uninstall it or even know if i can for that matter i would really like to know if there is a way that i could uninstall the os without having to take out my backup battery seeing as how the screw has been stripped and it seems impossible to get the battery out without breaking the cover on the battery.

Neutral have you tried using TI-Connect's send OS program?

Pull out one of the AAA batteries, then press and hold the [On] key and [Del] key. Then reinsert the AAA battery while the keys are still held. It should pop up the "Waiting for software..." text at which point you send another os to the calc. You can find the TIOS for the TI83+ here [education.ti.com] or the TIOS for the TI84+ here [education.ti.com]

If you have an SE calc, the normal OS is suitable for your calc (I.E. the TI83+ os works for the TI83+se, and the ti84+ os works for the ti84+se)
