An atheist is walking through the woods on a perfectly beautiful day; the sun is shining, spring is in full swing and he stares in amazement. he starts thinking about how wonderful the randomness of the forest. as he reaches a stream he looks down and starts watching the fish swim along admiring the beauty of the big bang.
after a couple minutes he hears a rumbling roar...he slowly looks up to see that a very large grizzly bear is now standing over him. he immediately begs god to save him from the grizzly bear.
in the instant everthing stops, suddenly gods yells down to him, "why now do you believe in me when you have denied me for so long?"
the man replies, "i was wrong but i have seen the error of my ways.
"it is to late for apologies for that bear is hungry."
"i have but one request then, at least make the bear a christian since i am not."
time returns to normal right after he says that. the bear looks at him strangely and bows his head in prayer, "thank you lord for the bountiful meal that i am about to receive." |
