He meant, "Why would you wanna open your calculator? Is there any point to this?"

But, maybe if he had read this:

Ya, but the only real interface between the calc and any other device is to hook it up through one of the link ports... unless there is something I havent heard about the V200 that you can chain a bunch of devices to a single bus on the board...

ihr also = you (as in, y'all). As to the word order, German sometimes reminds me of reverse polish notation.

It's pretty much arbitrary, as long as you follow a few* simple rules. It's the articles I can't stand.

Im not from Germany, i live about 20 miles outside of Washington DC in Virginia. I did how ever take 4 years of German class. I would have posted in German but my German is really bad. Raster stated the point i was getting at. The link port would be the easiest way to connect WIFI to the calculator.

Was würden Sie tun mit den Taschenrechner offen? Was plan(oder plane?) hatten Sie, wann dein Taschenrechner offen ist?

Eng:
What would you do with your calculator open? What plans have you, when your calculator is open?

If my speaking isnt up to par, feel free to correct.
