I got a 100 :(

I uploaded the wrong version and it had a bug in the saving feature. It was also a demo and didn't go beyond anything. I hope to have the initiative to finish it up.

Edit:
Just seeing if anyone notices.

Congrats to all that entered...For me, winning or losing a contest really isnt all that big of a deal. Just going out doing what you do and having fun at the same time is to me what a contest is all about. Oh and winning and bragging rights dont hurt anything either.

I am sure UTI will hold another contest...so to all the "losers" and I mean that with the upmost respect, I hope you can and do enter again.

Nice Job alexrudd, I can see why you won!

I ended up with final score of 92. I only got marked down because I was too anxoius and uploaded my program to TI-Calc before the judging was complete. Otherwise, I might have won.  Sad

Here is my entry and the scores:

Has anyone been able to replicate the error the judges mentioned? I'm about to go away for the weekend with several long drives...

Perhaps the problem I was having is related to the OS version I was using, can someone else confirm that?

Yes, you appear to have a typo in your code - prgmZSPW instead of prgmZPW. If you play a one player game, it occurs after you and the computer have filled all the squares.

I deleted the 'S' and it seems to work.

Here is a picture of the error: link

D'oh, that was stupid. Thanks for the catch bukwirm. Now that it's fixed, I've uploaded it to UTI's archives and will probably upload it to ticalc.org since there was a news article there.

So that means you guys didn't even get to scoring, or even winning? I had comments on the score and and a surprise for the winner and everything. It might make a lot more sense to JBirk too, as I can see his confusion at only playing half the game. Smile
