I am 99.9% certain that IPB checks more than just the extension, but as I can't give a clear example I'll concede the point.

Nice. I like the handrawn ones the best I think, that and the odd swirls ones. Razz

From my .htaccess:

Quote:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^gallery/buttons/kevinjb.png$ http://www.kevinjb.com/affiliate.gif
</IfModule>

Overkill? Probably. But it works Smile Simple enough that you should be easily able to understand it.

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^/av/av.gif$ http://24.132.4.131/av/av.php
</IfModule>

The .htaccess file is in /av/
AllowOverride is set to All in httpd.conf

^av/av.gif$ and ^av.gif$ and ./ instead of / don't make it work.

Oh, right, put the .htaccess in the root folder, not in av (or just use this, and keep it in the av folder:

Quote:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^av.gif$ http://24.132.4.131/av/av.php
</IfModule>
