No, he wasn't running it off a server. Check the url.

By the way, Newbie: here's how to export a table if you do get phpmyadmin:


For some reason, it's getting saved as a weird file name but yours should be "database.sql". If it's not, you can just rename it.

What do I do for the login and password? Also if I install that should that correct this problem?

First, you have to move phpmyadmin into your htdocs, whatever that may be.

Your user and password are what your picked for MySQL: usually "root" for user.

* Move C:\Program Files\WebServ\addons\phpmyadmin to C:\Program Files\WebServ\wwwroot\htdocs
* On config.inc.php, change:

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user']          = 'root';      // MySQL user
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password']      = 'yourpass';  // MySQL password (only needed with 'config' auth_type)


Access it by going to http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin

After I unzipped it I sent it to C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs
What do I do for the wwwroot and where is the config.ini.php?

No, your htdocs file is no longer that. It's C:\Program Files\WebServ\wwwroot\htdocs now.

Let me make sure that the file below is the one I should be using.

[attachment=612:attachment] (phpmyadmin)

What do I do after I unzip it so that i get the webserver/wwwroot
I know the web server for me is apache2.
Also where is config.inc.php located?
