calcast- this would be possible if anyone can program a windows app to send something to a calc that was retrieved from the internet. the idea is TI news, loaded to the calc, at the click of a button.

the second is, i noticed that when you poke your screen on the calcs, that it kinda bleeds, but is there any measureable electro-feedback given to the calc internals?

When you press an LCD you are constricting the plates in which the LCD fluid resides between. I seriously doubt that there is any means of measuring this.

Actually, I thought of that the other day. Since the fluid is actually entering to crystal, there will be an electrical connection being made. However, you cannot read from the screen itself, on the LCD driver's ram. No touchscreen dude.
