Are there any good, long calculator movies? At ticalc.org someone made the "first five minutes of Star Wars IV" but it's big.
I'm sure one of the xlib gurus can make a good movie, right?

Someone should come up with a way to make and compress a huge movie... maybe store it to base ammount of pixles on screen. It would be difficult but pretty cool...

[art major impression]
I like the intro to Donkey Kong. The director delivers a searing portrait of confusion and violence; using subtile imagery and other thematic elements.

When DK breaks through the brick wall, he foreshadows the destruction and choas to come. Is the wall a barrier? Or is it perhaps an allagory to the mayhem and carnage of the modern age? As the wall comes down, we contemplate the creature's eyes; as though gaizing on a reflection. Through this, I witnessed not a video, but rather a harrowing glimpse into the human condition. In summary, it was a life-changing 8½ seconds.

I think a program I made that displayed random polar spirals entertained me for most of a day. I've also had a friend that stared at a counting program for a half hour. Not technically movies, but the served the same function.

Also, that Star Wars movie is excellent, I've watched that a couple of times.

It doesn't work too well. I tried converting the Knock Knock avatar thingye, and I couldn't see anything half the time. Too many weird video errors. I'll post a pic as soon as I try re-converting it.

You could try compressing some of the frames. They can get pretty small as long as there's lots of empty space.

They are, and I believe that may be the problem. Attached is the pic. As you can see, only the top few rows are showing.
