i tried holding DEL when the calc is off and takin out a battery but it still says i need certificate, why is this? and how can i get CSX on my calc

Do you have an 83+ or an 84+? The 84's require you to press stat instead of delete to send a new OS.

EDIT: now its giving me a different error, kinda random

Meh, OS replacements are annoying to send. Try pulling the batteries, then try the OS downloader. If that doesn't work, try just sending it normally again.

it never gets to verify.. it wont even install

EDIT: os downloader doesnt work still gives me certificate required error

The trick to send a third-party OS to a TI-83 Plus no longer works on the TI-84 Plus.
