I want to create a batch of new programs, but I want them to appeal and be original. Are there any programs besides games that are BASIC-able but original?

A grade-keeping program? With GUI? As I often say, the ticalc.org ones aren't that good. I'm running out of ideas.

Grade Keeper. I have, coincidentally, just finished one I have been working on! I'll improve it and release it somewhere. Most likely ticalcs.net. Any other suggestions since I want to create a new one?

While not too different, a phone book may be good practice.
Edit numbers/names, clear entries, or reset all data at once.

Scheduler with calendar and tasks listed by custom time schedules.

Yearly, monthly, dayly, hourly views.
Insert tasks with name, description, and starting time and duration, as well as frequency (hourly, dayly, weekly, monthly, yearly).
Search function?

Maybe something to keep track of when and how much of your medicine you have taken? (design goal: max interactivity using minimum time/keypresses/effort)

Something to efficiently type in a lot of gathered information from a science project (like statistical data/measurements from various experiments) and then generate a report from?

etc etc

I've made a program with that purpose in mind (Sprite Lab). But what other features were you thinking of for a sprite design program? If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate hearing them.

the calendar app does that.

TO AXCHO: I only think of drawing, saving sprites. Maybe different brushes or grayscale brushes.

ORGANIZE, it's one of the Apps that comes preloaded on the 84+SE. You can get it from the TI website, and it's really handy. Basically it acts as a mini PDA.
