whenever i run games on my ti-83+, then press [GRAPH], it just goes blank! i can exist it my pressing quit though. its like my calc forgot the image of a graph. help? whats goin on? :confused:

It sounds as though your calculator has its axes turned off. To turn them back on, go into Format. I believe it's [2nd] and then the middle top button (though it's been a long while since I've looked at an 83 family calculator). You should see an option about having the Axes on and having the Axes off.

If that doesn't work, post back.

Most games that use the Graphscreen use AxesOff and FnOff. That makes it so that the graphs in Y= aren't drawn, just like the axes. If you want to turn the axes on, do what Jeremiah Walgren said. If you want to turn the graphs back on, press Y=, go to the graph you want to turn on, press left (the = should go blinking) and press enter so the = will be white on a black background. This doesn't work if the equation is empty.
