Is it possible to change the forum images? If so, here is a transparentized version of the closed button. I think it's the only button that has not been made transparent.

Indeed, it's a matter of naming it the same filename as the old image and replacing it through FTP.

Yeah, I always wondered why it wasn't transparent...

The Report button has one. The Fast Reply button has a halo around it too.

OK, worked on the add poll one. Wasn't as easy as the first one, and I'm no expert at Photoshop, but here it is:

EDIT: 'ADD' doesn't look right, should probably be worked on by someone better than me. Smile

And for some reason some of the transparent parents are grey, despite what Photoshop shows.

EDIT 2: Added edit and delete buttons. Any more? (besides + quote, what does that button do anyway?)

Photoshop has a feature that will let you (magic wand) select antialiased images, it works perfectly. Certainly a lot easier then manually hand editing each pixel.

I tried it, but I found it doesn't work all the time, sometimes it selects too many pixels. I use the pencil/line tools to get all the pixels that need to be blanked, change them to a different color that isn't in the image, then use the background eraser. That's actually the fastest part. Smile

about white stuff, the login page has lot of white/red stuff that wont fit at all with the rest of the forum, same for the fast reply box, I think it should be changed too

Stupid... That's what I thought it did, but I always tried clicking on Quote, and it obviously didn't do anything. Now I can finally use that feature that I thought didn't work. :)

Does anyone want to redo that button? I could try, but it would probably look like crap.

Here's a better Add Poll image. Someone else needs to make it transparent though.

It's transparent, but at the moment I can't reduce the palette... 2,308 bytes should be fine.

I wonder if the savings in file size would be worth the trouble of converting the images to PNG.

So the only images left to do are

if I didn't miss anything. The 'post icons' (that are associated with the whole post) should also be changed but that wouldn't involve drawing anything new.
