File Name :: X= Equation Grapher
Author :: aforsy
Category :: Ti-83plus Basic Math/Science
Screenshot ::
Description ::
Graphs equations solved for X rather than Y. It doesn't support unreal answers or divide by zero, so just be careful (this seems not to include ^-1 for some reason). Also, due to that darn quasi-random resetting of Y, type 'A' rather than 'Y' when entering the equation.

Features include: Solving for values of A/Y, Displaying multiple graphs, and changing the Resolution (higher = faster, but with lower quality). Maybe more stuff later.

Tell me how you like it!

Is this basically DrawInv and the built-in solve functions?

What's the problem with solving for Y instead?
Well, this could be a good checker...

Swapping x and y values in graphing is a fine way to inversely draw a function, but if one wants to acquire the true inverse of an equation, interchanging these variables within the initial equation and then solving for y is the best method. A strategic block of code and a regression can seem to pull this out of thin air! :biggrin:
