What you do is display more than one picture.

You use interrupts to switch the pictues fast.

Ask Justin W, he may explain it to you.

Well simply it would not be a wise idea for you to try and make your own grayscale routine as you are not of that level in asm. Grayscale requires you to use a interupt to interlace two bitmaps very quickly. The grayscale development kit can be found at Maxcoderz

Image Studio can be aquired at ticalc.org under the window utilities section.

Actually I did not help make the dev kit. Diederik Kingma of Maxcoderz(the other programming group I'm a member of) did. And yes large scale projects as a beginner can become extremely overwhelming. My only advice is unless you understand it fully, take your time and document your entire source.

Since the new site has gone up, there have been several updates yet the most recent was back in April. The forum is still very active though. There just haven't been any 'news worthy' occurances yet.

They have some very experienced programmers there. All the members are quite busy but always have time to answer questions.

Staff are the webmasters of the groups before the merge. We control the site and how it runs. You may however become a UTI member(programming member). You would have to send an application via email to one of the staff where they can discuss amongst the other staff members whether you can join or not.

No, but you can become a UTI Member.

___I edited below and added the edit by line.

I made you a UTI member because I remember prommising that I would send your name to Glen to be added to United-TI on behalf of Calcbasic.

Diederik did a ton of work for that to be possible. Yet it is not what I would call for beginners.

The amount of work that goes into the greyscale routine may exceed the work that goes into programs that use it! Surprised

In almost any case the grayscale routines are usually more complex than any of your code.
