I just recently encountered and error from my video drivers that ATI and Microsoft has never heard of. There is no update for my drivers. I have reinstalled them. Yet nothing seems to work. I have 2 ATI Radeon graphics cards. One in AGP and the other in PCI. It seemd that the AGP, my main card, is the one that screws up. When Im doing intence graphical working (Like wallhacking in CS  ) my graphics card would crash. And sometimes during start up it would crash.

Im pretty sure it is not my graphics card cuz I just bought it like 5 months ago.

faulty chips with the sweet&sour dip ..... uuh YUM!!!

I had a friend with a similar problem, then he bought himself a larger power supply, and everything was fine... then about a month ago, the whole computer burst into flames... I'd say take it back to the shop, that is the best option, they'll probably allow you to swap it for a new one, when you have explained it to them.

If your card supports it. Otherwise:

You only need to check if the temperature you get is substantially higher when it crashes.

Im just trying to contact ATI technical support. They put you through so many loops.

You first have to submit the issue through our messaging service by registering your product. And thats just one major loop. during the registration you have to answer about 100 questions...
