And then there's the fact that the software/music industries are making more and more money every year while copying is increasing every year as well, so they can't claim they're being damaged.

And your ISP sucks if they give your personal information without a court order, not to mention they'd be breaking the law.
And they can't do anything against insigificant stuff like downloading 1 mp3 or downloading windows3.1 unless you admit you're doing something wrong and strike a deal with them or something stupid like that.
99.9999% of legal threats around software/music copying are nothing more than scare tactics made by stupid bureaucrats trying to make some money off of their copyrights. Sueing is just another way of earning money for a record company and those satanic maggots will grab every chance they get at earning another $.

The only reason people haven't been sued is the fact that the antipiracy groups / the police don't know who those people are, the second they find the slightest evidence of piracy they will get a warrent and they will sue!!
