I believe that TI-Graph Link does, but just about any software should that can send the files to your Ti-82.

.82g
The "g" stands for group, it means that several files are stored in one file, for easy transfer to the calculator. It is a bit like a zipfile for the computer, but there is no compression.

(the correct analogy would be comparing it to the tarfile instead, but no worries)

1. cSc has a group file.

2. cSc has failed at sending said group file to his/her calculator for some reason or other.

3. Where did cSc get this group file? What group file is it?

Is that clear enough for you?

If I recall correctly you can download files from the Ti-82 into a group file *.82g, but you cannot send them in a group, if you use the Ti-Graphlink software you should be able to send the contents of the group file to the Ti-82 extracted.
