Heh... "gedownload," "webseite," "internet explorer," "openen" and so on. They really don't translate much, do they?

Is that Dutch? It looks somewhat like German but is different...

If you can FTP to other locations, IE is working okay.

If you cannot FTP to other options, you will need to go into Internet Options and change the User Authentication > Logon

The language is Dutch―I figured that out after several failed attempts at choosing which language to convert from using Babel Fish.

Note: That's [font="courier new"]bă`bəl
or [font="courier new"]bā`bəl, though I prefer the former, as it's more accustomed to Douglas Adams's notion that sticking a certain kind of fish in your ear will allow you to translate the babble of unfamiliar languages.

As I stated, the error message is probably common.

More than likely it says can't login or something like that. In which case a different auth method is needed.

Okay,

Your Internet Auth Settings are Messed Up. Chances are you probably have Anon Login set up.

Here is what I think will fix it.

Give it a try and let me know if this works or not.

Once you get that working, I should recomend FileZilla. It is a very good FTP client that even supports SFTP!

It doesn't work in Firefox, even on my computer. It gives an error.

Hum, Strange.

You are trying to tell me Firefox doesn't work with FTP either?

Geeze, I guess the grass is always greener on my side of the fence.

Actually, it may surprize you but Firefox is a Web Browser not an FTP Client!

However, like Mozilla, Firefox is very scalable. You can get the extention here:
http://fireftp.mozdev.org/ Yes, you will need to restart FireFox when done.

Other good tools are MozEdit (a text editor) and Web Developer Toolbar. They are both extentions, which can make it possible to make a website and publish it through Firefox.

If you want to keep track of your Weather, you might like ForcastFox. Stay away from Weather Bug! To remove your Weather Bug spyware, use either Ad-Aware, or Spybot Search and Destory.

For a real, good FTP Client get FileZilla! It is much better than any other FTP client I have tried! You can get it http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

For those of you who are currious about FileZilla, it is a really great FTP client.

I use it Exclusivly for all my FTP transfers.

Here is what it looks like. I have a Secured/Encrypted conection to Unitedti.org in this picture.

To get a copy, Visit http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
