Anyone think we should, or I, should make another SDK, this time (and hopefully the last), for United-TI. I'll start, but don't except much, as i'm only able to do it in the old ms-dos form

Actually I had intended on making a new SDK. I would include the ability to make binary programs and signed flash apps(in a breeze). This is only if people are interested. I just learned ms-dos programming and am eager to do something with it.

I knew it since I was five years old! (I tinkered around with autoexec.bat and config.sys a few too many times). Yeah, the prokul one was awesome that you made, I'd use it!

If everyone decides to make a new SDK,could you please make it Mac or Unix compatible so I can finally start compiling ASM programs?

Still using your Mac? Get a 386/486 or possibly a pentium! They cost like $5.00 if they aren't bad enough already, most of them are free! Just get one that runs MS-DOS!

Dude, a new SDK would be the greatest. It would definately make things a lot easier. I currently use UltraEdit 32 (as recommended by ASMGuru), so I can make little shorcuts to TASM and BIN8X, but if this could be simplified into one program, I would use it.

Ok if no one has any objections I will make a new sdk for United-TI. It will be as easy to use as David's. Only I think there's no use in hex programs and hexapp files. If anyone severly disagrees please say so and I will add them too. I'm also open to any ideas. I will be doing it in dos style like David's but I will try to make it less cluttered.

I cannot make it mac compatable as the applications for compilation are written for PC. All I do is the dos programming to make all the programs work together to make a final product.

I have started the new sdk, and just to appease Adm Wiggin, I will add the full functionality that the cirrus sdk has, plus some more. As an added bonus my app compiling/signing routine does not require the flash debugger. It has all the certificates and programs to compile an app added. I have also added a feature that will explain about the sdk in detail the first time you try to assemble a program/app and then never show it again. It will have a slightly different syntax for getting things to assemble than others. It will require an extra command that will be typed after the asm <filename> <function>.

As an added feature the compiler and other applications will be stored in a folder and accessed from there. (Possibly hide that folder?) Which means less clutter in the main folder.

Would you people like seperate folders for hex, binary, hex apps, and signed apps like the Cirrus SDK?

About the folders, so long as it is neat and easy, any setup will work.
