That is not so bad. Besides, you can add any program giving you trouble to the DEP Exemption List, so XP doesn't pick on it.

that precisely is the problem. Microsoft probably didnt test the sp2 on too many different computer/harware setups, and thus it works on some but not on others.
the only complaint i have about sp2 is that i have to use the control key when coming to uti os that it pops up the New PM box. consequently i have moved to mozilla.
i have not noticed any other problems, nor been annoyed by it. for a few days after i turned the firewall off, it nagged me to turn it back on but has stopped.
sp1 has seen over 40 days uptime, and sp2 should be seeing that too on my machine sometime soon.
