Yar, anybody know of a way/program to make your computer (and thus other programs) think you have more RAM than you have, possibly by using a part of the HDD space as RAM? So kind of like virtual memory/swap file, but in a way that it actually shows up as RAM.

Either that or some way to completely turn off shared memory.

Why you ask? Well, I have 256MB ram in my laptop, of which at least 4 MB is shared with the VGA chipset, and I can't set that to 0 in my BIOS settings, even though the chipset has 32mb memory for itself (not shared from the RAM) and itshould be possible. So windows thinks I only have 256-SMA=224 MB RAM, and certain software developers think it's funny to check for the amount of RAM before running the game and aborting if it's not enough (256MB), even though games can run fine when the system they're on doesn't have "enough" RAM, so I can't play Dawn of War. : (
