ok - I've got an 89-Titanium, I've got the USB link cable but I don't have the CD that came with the calc... what software do I need to install to put stuff in the calc?

And don't say TI-Connect:

I was afraid there'd be porn here.

Ti.com says the CD is just a product guidebook. Their instruction guide says to use the latest TI Connect (had to say it). So far it's the only I know of that supports Titanium.

TI Connect would probably be the best option, unless you want to try and give TiLP a shot.

The direct USB links on the 84+ and 89 Titanium are not yet supported, however.

Supposedly. It says it has support for the 89Ti... Or maybe I'm just reading it wrong (which be likely - it's happened before).

And don't say TI-Connect

Is this like the people who ask where they should go to get games other than ticalc.org?

Which version are you using? There are various errors in the older versions that are fixed in newer versions (especially if you have a newer calculator).

If you are using the SilverLink cable (read: NOT the direct USB cable, which isn't supported yet), you will need to re-install the driver for it. Open the TI-Connect home, click on help, expand troubleshooting, and click on "reinstalling the USB driver".

It's not? You've heard about TI Connect 1.5, right?

That's the one I just installed, and I remember reading quite clearly that it wasn't supported. Was there a patch?

TI Connect 1.5 added support for the USB-to-mini-USB cables for the 84+s and the 89Ti. That was the entire point of it. You think they'd bother with a new version for the sole purpose of adding support for the 86 or a program editor (which was in the beta but not in the release version)?
