I need to get a new LCD/driver/chip assembly (A) with the 17-lead ribbon cables and everything for my TI83se. I'm confident I can do the soldering.

I called TI and they said that they don't sell the screens. Are there any electronics sites that I can pick one up at?

I don't want to spend $50 for a working TI83 and I have had no luck finding a broken TI83 where I can salvage a screen from.

Yes. Yes, it should. Confused

Well, most likely TI designs and manufacturers these modules within their own company. But check with Toshiba and start by searching for small-scale STN-LCD display modules that are compatible with your calc's Toshiba T6K04 driver chip. I found a datasheet on the T6K04 driver chip here (just type in the security code) but it doesn't list any compatible modules.
