Hey now that is harsh, i hope that we can make one (we being duct tape games and UTI) Only about 5000 is going to be used for the battle engine (not including the items) and we should be able to make the game in one file for the TI-83+

Like I said, unless it's text or menu's or something similar (turn-based battle) it simply won't run good, basic is just too slow for you to be able to have battle sequences where you can still controll the character and run around and stuff (if you want to proove me wrong, please do). Sad

sry it is not what i call "live" or like zelda, battle man for ti-83, it is turn based so the speed keeps up forgot to say sry.

I'd just like to point out that BASIC RPGs with ASM utilities can turn out great. Go to my site and download both Final Fantasy games to see what I mean. Then go to maxcoderz and bow to your new god, Hitoshi Wink

I remember tying something about it, saying it didn't look that great at all.

Maybe I'm going mad but I can't find my post (I think adm wiggin or darth also replied in a similar way) anywhere.
