Yes I believe asm programmers can use the usb link to have two player games, but I think they have to be both the same kind of calcs. Not sure though!

They are for "an app" like I posted in that topic. Try asking TI.

Yes, that's so very helpful. Like I said, we still don't really know what they are for.

I'd did something similar to that. I bought an 89 about 2/3 the way through Algebra II. Biggest mistake I could have made... Luckily I caught myself before I became totally dependant on it.

Now I pretty much use it for games. Laughing

Really? That AP Calc BC test is hard man... I could probably do all those integrals in the Calc section by hand, but it would take me much longer to do them.

I can do calculus by hand... but that 89 is real helpful sometimes.

He said 9th grade. That's several years before you take calculus.

Hehe, I took calc ab this year, but I'm a slacker senior. Yeah I think they shouldn't allow calculators until algebra 2 and those should only be 4 function. People get to dependent on em. But the majority of people I know only use there calcs for games, like me, so I'd say go for which ever calc u feel more comfortable with. I have an 89 and an 83+. I use the 89 more now cuz of calc and my solitare pack, but as for programming z80 asm isn't the easiest thing to learn. I still suck at it, and c is fairly easy and very powerfull. So I'd say buy the 84+ and learn c on your computer then just buy an 89 or somethin later in highschool.

Does anyone actually NEED the V200?

But man, buy the Titanium... the 84 silver is just like the 83 silver, except faster and with more storage space. You should deff. buy a 68K to have both.

P.S. -X1011- what is your signature a pic of?

According to the labels I've seen on those packages in stores, the ti83+SE and the ti84+SE are the same in speed and storage, but the 84+SE has a USB port and that's about it.
